Dr. Davin Lim is an Australian board certified dermatologist with a special interest in laser, procedural and aesthetic dermatology. Internationally recognised for his expertise in laser treated skin disorders and skin rejuvenation therapies, Dr. Lim brings extensive experience in acne scar revision, laser resurfacing, pigmentation, vascular conditions and advanced procedural techniques to The Skin Hospital.
Dr. Lim completed dermatology training across Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom. In 2001, he became the first Australian dermatologist to train under the Irish Association of Dermatologists, undertaking residency training in Dublin and Drogheda across both UK and US dermatology curricula. He later completed additional training with the British Association of Dermatologists in the United Kingdom, where he was awarded the Royal Society of Medicine Registrar’s Prize.
Following completion of his Australian dermatology training at the Royal Brisbane and Princess Alexandra Hospitals, Dr. Lim undertook further advanced training throughout Asia and the United States, focusing on laser and aesthetic procedures. He is widely regarded as a leader in the field of aesthetic dermatology and has developed innovative procedural techniques, including advancements in TCA CROSS and hybrid laser resurfacing protocols.
Dr. Lim has published extensively in international journals, presented at conferences globally, and serves on a number of international advisory boards within the dermatology and aesthetic medicine industries.
