Overview

Dr Simon Lee is a consultant dermatologist at The Skin Hospital at both Darlinghurst and Westmead. He became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2002 and completed the Mohs’ Micrographic Procedure and Laser Dermatology fellowship at The Skin Hospital, Westmead in the same year.

Since then he has worked as a visiting medical officer in public hospitals in both Sydney and London as well as in private practice throughout Sydney. His involvement in education has included teaching medical students, dermatology trainees, general practitioners, and other specialists. Simon regularly reviews journal articles and has been involved in making submissions to the various health groups such as the Therapeutics and Goods Administration. Although experienced in all areas of dermatology, including medical, paediatric and cosmetic aspects, his greatest interest has been in the surgical management of skin cancers.

Since 2013 he has been practicing exclusively in the area of Mohs procedure and is currently the Chair of the Education Committee and Medical Director (Darlinghurst) for The Skin Hospital.
