Overview

Dr Shivam Kapila graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2006, obtaining his medical qualifications. After this, he completed his dermatology training with the Australasian College of Dermatologists whilst working at The Skin Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, Concord General and Repatriation Hospital.

As well as Dermatology knowledge, Dr Kapila worked further to gain surgical experience, undertaking Plastic Surgery training in the Skin Cancer and Melanoma Unit at The Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute, Melbourne. He further studied to gain a Master of Surgery qualification from the University of Sydney as well as gaining General Surgical Training experience through the Royal Australasian College of Surgery. He completed his specialist Mohs Micrographic Procedure training at The Skin Hospital, Westmead and Darlinghurst and is currently working as a Mohs Practitioner with The Skin Hospital Westmead.
