Overview

Dr Roland Nguyen studied medicine at the University of Sydney, graduating in 1997 with Honours. After this, he completed a Master of Medical Science at the University of Queensland in 2002. This included research into skin cancer, affiliated with the Queensland Institute of Medical Research.

He now practices at The Skin Hospital, Darlinghurst. Furthermore, he also works in many different roles including supervising surgical training of trainee dermatologists at Liverpool Hospital, operating in Pittwater Day surgery, as well as practicing at Cabramatta Professional Centre and Northern Beaches Dermatology.

Dr Nguyen is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists since 2007 as well as holding an International Membership with the American Academy of Dermatology since 2011.

Dr Roland Nguyen has special interests in procedural dermatology including laser treatments, scar revision and skin cancer surgery, as well as different medical dermatological conditions such as acne, eczema, hair loss and nail disorders.
