Dr Germana C Romero is a specialist dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She has a keen interest in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers including melanoma.

Dr Romero completed her dermatology training in Spain in 2016. She gained further experience and training through the work at renowned academic medical centres including the Cleveland Clinic in the United States and the Melanoma Unit of the Hospital Clínic in Barcelona, Spain. She successfully completed a clinical fellowship in the sub-specialty of Oncodermatology at Westmead Hospital in 2019.

During her career, she has provided care as a dermatologist both in outpatient clinics and inpatient care and has been involved in the teaching of dermatology trainees and medical students in university hospitals in Spain, Australia and New Zealand.

Dr Romero is passionate about the multidisciplinary management of skin cancers, procedural dermatology, dermatopathology and cutaneous side effects of anti-cancer therapies.
