Dr Frances Tefany is a qualified dermatologist with over 20 years of experience, she is a member of the Australasian College of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
Dr Tefany commenced her studies at the University of NSW completing her M.B.B.S, she has also completed a PHD at the University of Sydney; researching primary malignant melanoma and has completed her F.A.C.D through the Australasian College of Dermatology. Throughout her career Dr Frances has worked at Westmead, RPA, St. Vincent’s and Liverpool Hospitals in NSW, the Skin and Cancer Centre in New York (USA), most recently she has been working in a private practice in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
As well as practising, Dr Frances has been involved with both under-graduate and post-graduate dermatology training through the University of Wollongong and at the University of NSW.
Dr Frances’ particular interests include malignant melanoma, treatment of skin cancers, management of psoriasis and auto immune conditions, management of acne, disorders of the hair and nails and paediatric dermatology.
