Overview

Dr. Ana Rodriguez Bandera completed her Bachelor’s in Medicine at the University of Malaga, Spain, in 2009, graduating with honours. She completed her dermatology training in 2014, at La Paz University Hospital, Madrid, one of the most prestigious tertiary hospitals in the country, and continued as a full time adult and pediatric dermatology consultant until 2019, when she moved to Australia.

Dr Rodriguez Bandera was awarded the Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2020. Additionally, whilst in Australia, she pursued further training in the management of skin cancers at Westmead Hospital, The Skin Hospital, Westmead and Darlinghurst, and Dubbo Dermatology. She has a special interest in Paediatric Dermatology and Cutaneous ultrasonography and has completed additional training in these fields at; Centre Hospitalier Régional Universitaire, France (2015), Benioff Children’s Hospital, University of California (2017), and The Children’s Hospital, Westmead (2019-2021). She completed her PhD (cum laude) in “Cutaneous Ultrasonography in Paediatric Dermatology” in 2017.

Dr Rodriguez Bandera has authored multiple papers in peer-reviewed international journals and has presented her work at multiple conferences around the world.
