Research Spotlight : Integrating Cardiovascular Prevention into Psoriasis Care

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease that extends beyond the skin, with well-established links to increased cardiovascular risk. Effective care requires not only managing skin symptoms but also addressing broader health risks to improve long-term outcomes.

We are pleased to spotlight a new publication in the Australasian Journal of Dermatology:
“Integrating Cardiovascular Prevention Into Psoriasis Care Using Text Messaging: Insights From the TEXTME PSO Trial.”

This study explores the role of mobile health interventions, specifically text messaging, as a scalable and cost-effective tool to support cardiovascular risk reduction in people living with psoriasis.
