| Overview: | Dr Bruno Blaya will be presenting an overview of male genital dermatoses and anatomical variants of normality in the male genitalia with a special focus on the practical management of these conditions. Dr Deshan Sebaratnam will be presenting an introduction into the use of lasers in dermatology

| About the speakers: | Dr. Bruno Blaya-Alvarez, MD PhD FACD
Dr Blaya is a general dermatologist (medical and surgical dermatology in adults and children) with a special interest in skin cancer, inflammatory diseases of the skin, and genital dermatoses. Dr Blaya graduated from the University of Barcelona, Spain, in 2004. He completed his dermatology training in University Hospital Cruces in Bilbao, and worked as a consultant dermatologist in university teaching hospitals in Bilbao and Madrid, Spain, for eight years before moving to Australia in 2017.He was the head of the STI unit in Hospital Universitario Sanitas La Moraleja (Madrid) from 2011 to 2017, when he moved to Australia. He has become a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists after successfully completing the Fellowship exams in 2018. Dr Deshan Sebaratnam, MBBS(Hons) MMed (Clin Epi) FACD Dr Deshan Sebaratnam completed his Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery at the University of New South Wales, graduating with Honours. While completing his residency at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, he also completed his Master of Medicine. As part of his dermatology training with the Australasian College of Dermatologists, he was chosen to complete a Fellowship at St. John’s Institute for Dermatology in London. He has a strong interest in teaching and research and is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer with the University of New South Wales. He has published his research in international medical journals and has presented at conferences around the world |
